just some quick notes about each dog...
FENDER- is my main stud. he's produced some fabulous dogs and he's the best stud i've ever had. he knows his job and needs no help. he could be put in the show ring but he just doesn't have the attitude for it. he's on the timid side and loves attention, he doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. he follows me everywhere and is a great dog, he'd make a great pet and is good w/ the kids and other dogs. he was raised and always lived in the house, only occasionally was he ever in the kennel. he does tend to mark his territory in the house occasionally, but usually only when there's a girl in heat. if he was neutered i don't think it'd be a problem. other than that he's totally house trained and doesn't run off when left outside like a couple of the girls do. he doesn't chew on the kids toys or anything else, only the occasional dog toy/bone. he's 6 years old now, will be 7 in april, and a little premature gray. he's had literally zero health problems and was the best 'investment' i've made concerning the dogs. FENDER'S PICTURES(these are older pictures, he's a bit gray around the muzzle now)
REN- PLACED ren is also a very good stud. he knows his job and also needs no help to do it. he's a very happy and energetic boy and has a great personallity. he could definitely be shown, i just never found the time to do it. he's house trained fairly well, could use just a little work, but it' wouldnt' take much to get him just about perfect. if left alone in the house he'll jump up on the table in a flash, he was raised as a show dog and is definitely comfortable on the table lol. he gets along great w/ the other dogs and my kids, loves his toys and is an all around good natured dog. BUSTER- buster is ren's son and is just tiny. he's about 2 1/2 yrs old now and is a proven stud. he knows his job and gets the job done, but does need help if he's trying to take care of a larger female. he's the low man on the totem pole but does get along w/ everybody else just fine. he's absolutely adorable and all muscle, even if he is super small. he'll need a little work if he goes to a pet home, mainly in the house training dept, but it shouldn't take too much to get him on track. he's a happy little boy as well and would make a great little pet if neutered, or a stud dog would suit him just fine lol. MIA-(will be available in May) i like mia. i always have. she's lacking the desired white markings, but if you look past that she's built quite nicely. she's fender's daughter and is about 2 1/2 yrs old. she's one of my larger females. i think she'd make a great pet. nice and calm, gets along w/ the other dogs and my kids. she'll run off on occasion, mainly if i let her out w/ another 'roamer'. if she's outside by herself or w/ another dog who sticks close to home she doesn't go anywhere. a little work in the house training and she'll be good to go. mia has only had one litter, a single pup who turned out quite well. natural birth w/ no complications. MIA'S PICTURES (you can see a closeup of her face on my 'girls' page)
MOCHA- PLACED ocha's another favorite, though a lot more active than mia. she's also about 2 1/2 and full of energy. she loves her toys and loves to play. gets along well w/ the other dogs and my kids, will run off if out w/ another roamer, but usually sticks close to home. i've only bred her once and she didn't get pregnant so don't know if she's a natural birther or not. she's ren's daughter and looks just like him, only a little more delicate. she's crate trained perfectly, always waits to go outside so house training should be a snap. i considered keeping mocha, but we've decided to just have the one dog for now so i'll place her in the right home. TINKER- tinker is a force of her own lol. she's quite vocal, not barking but she does snort and grunt when she gets excited. she's got 3 legs, one got infected and had to be amputated. she's recovered wonderfully and gets around great. she does like to be the last one down the stairs so the others don't knock her over, and she's not as fast as she used to be, but other than that no difference than before. she's just about house trained, though the occasional accident does happen. she's had 1 litter to date and i can honestly say it was the best litter i've ever had. i have to check my records but i believe it was a natural birth. she carried 5 pups, 3 survived. i'd planned on building my future lines on her and fender, but have decided to leave the puppy making to others. DAISY- PLACEDdaisy is just tiny. probably too small to breed, i haven't bred her, was hoping she'd be a little bigger. i'd rather see her go to a pet home, i don't thing breeding her would be good for her. she's buster's daughter and if used as a breeder would need a very small male to breed her with. she comes from a line of free whelpers but due to her size a c-section would probably be needed. she's a mild mannered little girl and only about 1 1/2 yrs old. she'd make a wonderful little pet, my son keeps saying he wants to keep her but he's only 3 and the rule is if you have a dog, you have to be old enough to train the dog yourself. maybe when he's older... IVY- PLACED(available in May) ivy is tinker's daughter and i see alot of tink in her. she likes to play and is good w/ the kids and other dogs. she's also had one litter, a single pup that i believe was born naturally but have to check to make sure. the pup is a little thing, living in NC, and is just soooo cute! ivy was the future of my kennel, but again, she'll have to be somebody elses future. she's a mild mannered girl like her father (fender) but definitely got some spunk in her. she loves her toys, needs a little work on the house training.
